The Team Behind SECTOR12 ENGINEERING AG

Behind every restoration and every rebuilt engine are people. Our experienced team brings together a range of specialist disciplines, from engine building and mechanical engineering to bodywork. Meet the people who help keep automotive legends alive.

Thomas Schnitzler

Thomas has had a passion for classic cars, and Ferrari in particular, since childhood. In 2015, he took over Edi Wyss Engineering AG and has successfully guided the long-established company into its next generation under the new name SECTOR12 ENGINEERING AG. With a clear focus on quality and continuous development, he has established new areas of expertise and expanded the business.

As a graduate automotive engineer, his particular focus lies in engine development. Under his leadership, engines are now built to compete at an international level while delivering an exceptional driving experience on the road.

Thomas sees himself not only as Managing Director, but as an active part of the team. He is in the workshop every day, working alongside his team and bringing his expertise directly into each project. His passion, experience and expertise have made him a sought-after specialist both nationally and internationally.

Claudio Stöcklin

Claudio has been part of the team since 2012 and is now an indispensable member of our workshop. Following his training as an agricultural machinery technician, he has built up extensive knowledge over more than a decade, from classic servicing to modifications for racing and rally applications.

One of Claudio’s specialist areas is suspension set-up, including corner weighting and wheel alignment.

Claudio values working independently and brings a great deal of passion to every project. Alongside his work on the cars, he also reliably manages orders and the coordination of our projects. With his experience, sense of responsibility and structured approach, he always keeps an overview and finds a solution to every challenge.

Yves Rohrer

Yves has been part of the team since 2012 and is our specialist in gearbox rebuilds, engine assembly and precision reproductions. Following his training as a polymechanic, he brings his expertise primarily to the machine shop and component manufacturing, always working with the highest levels of accuracy and reliability.

He is less frequently found working directly on the cars, as his strengths lie in engines, gearboxes and precision components, which he assembles with technical finesse. His calm and focused approach makes him the steadying presence in the workshop. With extensive experience and technical expertise, Yves ensures that even complex tasks are carried out reliably and precisely. An indispensable member of the team – skilled, dependable and always ready to help.

Marco Frei

Marco has been part of the team since 2015 and brings a broad range of experience as a qualified polymechanic. He takes on a variety of tasks in the workshop, with a particular focus on vehicle assembly and the fabrication of welded components.

Marco is also our go-to person for vehicle logistics, both on and off site.

Reliable, knowledgeable and hands-on, Marco is the dependable support behind the scenes that the entire team can always rely on.

Kevin Krieg

Kevin works part-time as a mechanic and has quickly become a valued member of the team. His strengths lie in his accuracy and precision – no detail escapes him, and he is not satisfied until everything is perfect.

With particular skill at the manufacturing machines, he produces precision components and stands out for his dedication, ambition and eagerness to keep learning. Kevin thinks every process through down to the smallest detail, bringing valuable perspectives to the team. His true passion is undoubtedly performance engines, which he works on and assembles with great dedication.

Lisa Schnitzler

Lisa is responsible for the workshop administration on a part-time basis, making her a key point of contact for customers, suppliers and the team. Whether it is accounting, organising racing events, or coordinating orders and collections, she is someone the team can always rely on.

As the driving force behind the scenes, she keeps everything running smoothly, maintains order and supports the team wherever she is needed. With her organisation, commitment and reliability, Lisa provides the foundation for the workshop to operate seamlessly.
